Welcome to the Creator Hub, for experienced developers publishing games built with their own tools. Upload one to test it on a mebobox, share it with friends by code, or list it on the Library.

Builder Lab
Welcome to Builder Lab, where you learn to code and build your own games. Pick a starting point:
Build With mebo
Tell mebo what sort of game you want and he'll put the first draft together for you to change.
Browse Templates
Pick a ready-made game — Coin Quest, a jumping game, a top-down collector or catch-the-thing.
Empty Project
Start from nothing. Best once you know your way around.

Your assets
Everything your game is made of. Add something here and it's available to your code straight away.
A sprite is a character or object. Each one can have several looks — standing, walking, jumping. One picture per look. PNG pictures only.
A picture on its own, with no looks — a background, a title screen, a heart for your lives. PNG pictures only.
New picture
Choose a PNG, or drop one here.
Sounds your blocks can play — a coin ping, a jump, a tune to play in the background. Press ▶ to hear one. MP3, OGG or WAV sounds only.
New sound
Choose an MP3, OGG or WAV, or drop one here.
Go back to ""?
What you have right now is kept first, as "Before you went back", so nothing is lost.
Delete ""?
It'll be gone for good. Your game isn't changed — you just can't go back to this one any more.
Name your variable
A variable is a box that remembers something — like the score, or how many lives are left. What shall we call it?
Adding to your game
Ready to write your own code?
We’ll keep a save of your blocks first, so you can always come back to it from Your saves.
From now on you’ll edit the three files yourself — game.js,
index.html and game.css. The blocks step aside, and your game
keeps working exactly as it does right now.
Your game’s details
0/300
A mebobox has two controllers. Say two if a friend can join in — your game reads Player 1 and Player 2 with the player blocks.
The picture people see on your game’s card. Not part of the game itself — your sprites and sounds live in Assets.
PNG, JPEG, WEBP or GIF, up to 2 MB.
Add a sprite
A sprite is a character or object — like the player, or a coin. Give it a name, say what this look shows, then choose a picture.
Asset gallery
Pick something to add to your game.
Request a sprite
Tell us what you need and we'll draw it. If we make it, it goes in the gallery for everybody.
One drawing each — pick only the ones your game needs.
The more you say, the closer it will be. Worth including: colours (a red dragon with gold wings), what sort of thing it is (a friendly cartoon robot, not a scary one), how big it should feel, and a link to a picture like it if you have one.

Let's make your game
Tell mebo your idea and he will build the first draft.
mebo is having a rest
He has helped as much as he can today — he'll be back tomorrow. You can still make a game right now, and everything else in Builder Lab works exactly as it always does.
Who is this game for?
- What you do — run, jump, shoot, collect
- What's in it — a dog, pizza, robots
- How you win — get to the end, collect them all

Here's what you'll get
You can still build them yourself — that's what the blocks are for.
You can change every bit of it afterwards — this is a starting point, not a finished game.
mebo is thinking up your game…
Here's what I made
Everything in your game
- Draw your own pictures — click any square in Assets and swap it. Your blocks won't change.
- Change the blocks — every number and every choice is yours to fiddle with. Press Run to see what happens.
- Stuck? Ask mebo — he's at the top of the editor.
Build a character
Pick the parts, pick the colours — the walking and jumping come free.
Which ways can they face?
What you'll get —
Draw
Every pixel yours. The checkerboard is see-through.

Three safety layers sit in front of the model and none of them is a complete defence, so every ask — including every refusal — is kept for 30 days and can be read here. A filter nobody looks behind is a filter nobody can tell is failing.
