Signing in
No passwords — just a link in your email.
mebobox doesn’t have passwords. There’s nothing to make up, nothing to forget, and nothing anyone can guess.
Signing in
- Go to the sign-in page and type your email address.
- We email you a link. Open it.
- The page says Nearly there with one button on it. Press the button, and you’re in.
That’s it. The link works once, and it stops working after 15 minutes — so if you leave it a while, just ask for another one.
Why there’s a button to press
The link is what proves it’s you, and a lot of email systems — school ones especially — automatically open every link in every message to check it’s safe. If opening the link were enough on its own, the checker would use it up before you got there, and you’d be told your link had expired when you’d never touched it.
So opening the link only shows you a page. Pressing the button is what signs you in, and nothing but a person does that.
If the email doesn’t arrive
- Look in junk or spam. It’s usually there.
- Check the address you typed.
- If it says You don’t yet have an account, that’s exactly what it means — nobody has signed up with that address yet. Create one; it takes a moment and it’s free.
Getting signed out while you’re building
Builder Lab tells you rather than losing your work. Under your game’s name you’ll see:
Signed out — tap to sign in (your work is safe here)
Tap it. Signing in opens in a new tab, so this one keeps everything you’ve done — come back to it when you’re signed in and it saves as normal.
Your account
Everything about you lives under My Account: your name, the handle other people see, your email address, and a photo if you want one. You can change any of it, and you can delete the whole account — which really does delete it, along with every game you’ve made.
