Game codes

Every mebobox game has a short code. Type the code, play the game. That’s the whole idea.

A game code is six characters — capital letters and numbers, like LILIAN or K3PT9M. Nothing else — no logins, no app store, no downloads to manage. If you have the code, you can play the game.

Where codes come from

  • A game you made. When you make a game in Builder Lab or upload one, it gets its own six-character code straight away. That’s the code you share.
  • A friend. If a friend made a game, they just tell you its code.
  • The Library. Games that have been checked and approved appear in the public Library, each with its code.

Typing a code on your mebobox

  1. On your mebobox, choose Choose game.
  2. A keyboard appears, with a row of numbers above the letters. Move around it with the D-pad and pick each character with A.
  3. Enter all six, and your mebobox fetches the game and starts it.

Codes are always six characters, capital A to Z and 0 to 9 — no lower case, no symbols. So they’re easy to read out loud and easy to type.

Two codes every mebobox already knows

Every mebobox ships with a game built in, and there’s a birthday one to try too:

  • BUNNNYBunny Bear, the game that comes with every console.
  • LILIANBirthday Bear, a little puzzle game to get you started.
