Uploading a finished game
Already built a game? Bring it into the Creator Hub, and it gets its own code like any other.
If you’ve made a game somewhere else — with the mebobox SDK, with GDevelop, or with Godot — you don’t need to rebuild it. Upload it, and mebobox checks it over and gives it a six-letter code you can share.
Where to start
Sign in and open Creator Hub → Upload a game. It walks you through three short steps: a little about your game, the game itself, and a play-test.
Two ways to send your game
- A zip file — up to 50 MB. Everything your game needs, zipped up, with an
index.htmlat the top. - A public code link — a link to a public repository on GitHub or Bitbucket. Pick the branch or tag you want, and mebobox fetches it for you.
Pick your engine first
Before the details, you choose what your game was made with. This tells mebobox how to run it — and shows you exactly what that engine needs.
A cover picture and the details
Give your game a name and a short description, and add a cover picture if you like (you can change it later). These are what people see when they come across your game.
What happens next
When you submit, mebobox checks your game against the technical checklist — that it has everything it needs, works offline, and plays with just the controller. This happens in the background, so you don’t have to wait around. If something needs fixing, mebobox tells you what, in plain words.
Once it passes, your game is ready: share its code with anyone, and it plays on their mebobox.
